Kemoyagi is a fursuit studio owned and run by two people, Melcaara and Basil. We have partnered artists that do work for us and our clients as well.
Our goal is bringing characters to life, utilizing years of sewing and sculpting experience to create a unique costume. Hand carved foam bases, to special one-of-a-kind patterns; each suit is unique in their own way. They can take quite some time to create, we source materials from multiple countries to bring in the softest furs, a wide variety of colors, strong eye domes, and the best quality we can find. A lot of time is spent ensuring each piece has no flaws and is sturdy and comfortable to wear.

Melcaara - I have 5 years of fursuit making experience and commission experience. I was part of the furry fandom for a few years before I started making fursuits, and the first time I made a suit I knew this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Bringing characters to life is so much fun! I run the majority of Kemoyagi, like social media, website, customer service, and about 95% of all work on producing the costumes.
Basil - I am a cosplayer and artist, and I am Melcaara's spouse. As a cosplayer, I have multiple years experience with costumes and I have vended handmade artwork at conventions before I met Mel. My main job for Kemoyagi is to help vend at conventions, and I occasionally assist Melcaara in certain things like hand sewing paws and tails, and the patterning and cutting of fabrics.
